Electric Vehicle Charging
Electric vehicles are becoming more common on the roads of Europe and Estonia. It’s great that people are transitioning to more environmentally friendly means of transportation.
In support of this transition, in 2023, in partnership with Liff Mobility OÜ, a charging station was installed at Hostel Nele’s premises, capable of simultaneously charging two electric vehicles with a power of 32 A each. Now our guests who use electric vehicles can relax without worrying about finding a charging station, as everything is at their fingertips!
Additionally, this service is available to all electric vehicle users through the Snabb, pargi.ee, mTasku and Mobilly applications.

Installation of electronic locks on the doors of the number rooms at Foor Jõhvi OÜ Hostel Nele
From February 10, 2023, to February 10, 2024, Hostel Nele received support from the Kirderanniku Koostöökogu MTÜ measure “COVID-19 kriisiga toimetuleku toetamine ja selle mõjude vähendamine”, in the amount of 9,996.68 euros. Project name: “Foor Jõhvi hostel Nele numbritubade ustele elektrooniliste lukkude paigaldamine”.
The main goal of the project is to install electronic card reader and code locks on twelve doors of Hostel Nele’s number rooms, which can be opened without a key. Doors can be opened either with a card or a code, or if necessary (if the client forgets the code or loses the card), the administrator can also open them with their phone. This allows reducing future contacts between the administrator and clients, which is important for staying competitive in the event of the ongoing or a new virus outbreak.
Energy-Saving LED Technologies at Hostel Nele
From January 1, 2023, to July 31, 2023, Hostel Nele supported the development of Kirderanniku Koostöökogu MTÜ as part of an entrepreneurship development and competence enhancement event with a sum of 7072 euros. The project’s name: Transition of Foor Jõhvi OÜ Hostel Nele’s lighting to energy-saving LED technology and automation. The immediate goal of the project is to install energy-saving LED fixtures and motion sensors with a photoelectric cell in the corridors and vestibules of the four floors of the hostel, as well as around the staircase and the outdoor entrance. The project aims to modernize the hostel. The project’s goal is to achieve cost savings on electricity and ensure business sustainability through it.
New Mini Kitchens and Equipment for Hostel Nele Guests
As part of the project, mini kitchens were equipped in two hostel rooms, and the necessary kitchen equipment and furniture were acquired.
One room is designed as a common kitchen where hostel visitors can prepare their own meals.
The project’s goal is to enhance the quality of hostel services.
